Final Production

We filmed our final piece over two days, we did this as we needed time to plan and discuss what was actually going to happen and what order we needed to do everything. We also needed a scene at night and a scene in the day so having a break in between allowed us to develop further ideas. We filmed the first part of our production down my road, a quite road in Weybridge, this allowed us to capture the driving to the party, it built up the tension as we were listening to the loud music and set the scene. We drove to St Georges Hill in Weybridge which was only up the road. This is where we were picking up Joanne, we were still listening to loud music at this time when she ran out in to the road and we hit her. After we drive off, the next scene is the scene at the party, there is not much to this scene but it also builds up tension as it goes straight in to days later where I am ringing on the doorbell wanting to see Anna. This is where I tell Anna I am still seeing things and that Joanne is still alive and out to get me. We decided to flush the necklace down the toilet, we made this a big part of the production as the visions and flashbacks still continue once the necklace has been flushed away. This is shown at the end of the scene where I leave Anna, and stop half way down the road to have another flashback of Joanne.

Costume

For our final production, the characters were wearing dresses. Myself and Anna were ready to go to a party so were dressed up for a special occasion. Joanne wore more casual clothing as in the production she is more of a tom boy compared to Anna and I who were girly girls. Anna wore black to build up an ironic atmopshere as people would assume she was playing an evil character. I wore a pink dress which also was ironic as I played the evil character but was made out to be sweet and innocent as after my actions I then realised what I had done and payed for it, this is shown by me having changing in to a black dress for the party portraying my true colours.

The transformation

We were experimenting on the mac books using all the different effects, we thought it would look good and would be a fun idea to show Anna and I getting ready for the party. The idea was to show that we were in a happy and up beat mood ready for the party.

Making Fake Blood

For our final production we decided to make fake blood. We thought it would make a more realistic and thriller like effect. We used food colouring and syrup to make the blood and added a touch of water to water it down a little to make it thinner and more realistic. The final outcome was really succesful, it looked very effective in our final production which was pleasing as it was the look we were going for.
